{"id":182,"date":"2020-03-21T16:28:30","date_gmt":"2020-03-21T16:28:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/?p=182"},"modified":"2020-03-21T16:29:39","modified_gmt":"2020-03-21T16:29:39","slug":"aca1231-on-os3-1-4-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/2020\/03\/aca1231-on-os3-1-4-1\/","title":{"rendered":"ACA1231 on OS3.1.4.1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After installing Amiga OS3.1.4.1, I&#8217;ve noticed that the 68030.library and MMU support with ACATune does not work correctly on my older ACA Card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Running ACATune -status shows that the ACA1231-41Mhz card is being detected as a ACA1230-28Mhz card with not features enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To fix this problem please follow the guide below<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 : To check if you have a problem with your ACA Accelerator card, Open up a Shell and type acatune -status<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have a ACA1231 but in ACATune it&#8217;s coming up as a ACA1230 with the wrong clock speed and also no features enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"514\" src=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-187\" srcset=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image.png 724w, https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2: Download the latest version of Mu680x0Libs &#8211;  <a href=\"http:\/\/aminet.net\/package\/util\/sys\/Mu680x0Libs\">http:\/\/aminet.net\/package\/util\/sys\/Mu680x0Libs<\/a>  and extract to a folder, In there run the Install in the Install folder &#8211; I picked Novice Level and let it install where it wanted<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"514\" src=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-1.png 724w, https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-1-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3: Once installed, Copy the ACAInit file from the Mu680x80Libs\/Libs\/MMU folder to your Libs:MMU<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"514\" src=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-190\" srcset=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-3.png 724w, https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-3-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4: Now edit the file ENVARC:MMU-Configuration and add ACAInit to the line before ;that&#8217;s all folks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"514\" src=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-189\" srcset=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-2.png 724w, https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-2-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"514\" src=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-191\" srcset=\"https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-4.png 724w, https:\/\/banfi.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/image-4-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5: Turn the Amiga off and wait a few seconds, then back on.
